Duran joined the club from Aston Villa for £64million during the January transfer window.

Since penning a five-and-a-half year deal, he has formed a deadly partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Discussing what it is like to play with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Duran explained: “It feels like I’m playing FIFA Career Mode. I’m celebrating goals with Cristiano Ronaldo!”

Although the pair have yet to combine for a goal, they have both played key roles in Al Nassr’s three wins since Duran’s arrival.

The latest victory saw Stefano Pioli’s side pick up a 3-2 away victory to maintain their grip on third place.

Duran opened the scoring during the first half before grabbing their third goal two minutes from time.

His second effort saw the Colombian produce a stunning individual goal as he carved open the Al Ahli defence.

After picking up the ball on the right-hand side, Duran drove into the opposition half.

The striker skipped past two challenges with ease as he made his way into the penalty area before slotting the ball under the onrushing goalkeeper.

Duran had earlier found the net with a precise finish into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

Despite already scoring four times in the Saudi Pro League, Duran has some way to go before matching Ronaldo’s tally in the competition.

The 40-year-old leads this season’s scoring charts with 16 goals in 19 appearances ahead of his former Real Madrid team-mate Karim Benzema.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo has now scored a total of 65 goals in 66 league matches since joining Al Nassr in 2023, with 82 strikes across all competitions.

Thursday’s result has also maintained the club’s slim title hopes this season, cutting the gap to league leaders Al Ittihad.

However, they remain five points adrift of top spot in third, with both sides above them not in action until Friday.

Al Nassr are next in action on Monday, with their final AFC Champions League phase match away to Persepolis of Iran.
