Lionel Messi’s six-year-old son has emulated his dad with a stunning goal during an Inter Miami academy match.
The eight-time Ballon d’Or winner’s youngest child Ciro is part of the club’s youth set-up, along with brothers Mateo and Thiago.

He has appeared to have inherited his father’s iconic dribbling ability having showcased his skills in a recent match.
Footage from the fixture shows Ciro, wearing no.10 like his dad, collecting the ball inside his own half.
The youngster can then be seen dribbling past three opposition players before finding the bottom corner of the goal.
His movement on the ball shared striking similarities to his dad, which fans on social media quickly pointed out.
Reacting to the goal, one fan wrote: “Yeah that’s Messi’s son alright. You don’t teach that shoulder drop dribble easily.”
Meanwhile, another added: “Look at the way he finished it wow, this kid moves just like his pops.”
Ciro’s strike most notably resembled Messi’s iconic individual effort for Barcelona against Getafe back in 2007.
A then 19-year-old Messi ran from inside his own half, evading half the Getafe team.
Once inside the penalty area, he rounded goalkeeper Luis Garcia before passing the ball into the net.
The effort saw the Argentinian forward compared to his compatriot and fellow World Cup winner Diego Maradona.

It was one of 672 goals he scored for Barca during his 18 years with the first team of the Spanish giants.
Messi now stars in the MLS for Inter Miami, having signed for the club in 2023 following two seasons with Paris Saint-Germain.
The Inter Miami captain has since scored 34 goals and added 18 assists in 39 appearances across all competitions.
He has also helped his side win the Leagues Cup and MLS Supporters’ Shield in just a season-and-a-half in the USA.
At 37-years-old, though, it is unlikely Messi will have the chance to play alongside any of his sons despite Ciro’s heroics on the pitch.
Instead, he is currently preparing for the new season, with Inter Miami facing New York City in their opening match on Sunday.
