Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has committed his life to the ‘Iron Paradise’.
If his home gym could talk, it would reveal the workout secrets of a legend.

Johnson has been training since he was just 12 years old, and across four decades, he has built one of the most recognisable physiques in the world.
Throughout his legendary WWE career, and his acting exploits that have seen him become Hollywood’s highest paid star, his commitment to the gym has been unwavering.
And even at the age of 52, he isn’t slowing down.
On Tuesday night (February 19), The Rock shared his latest leg day workout with his 394 million Instagram followers.
His effort comprised of ‘four monster sets’ of leg presses, lunges and extensions, and Johnson even threw in a ‘black mile’ (a very intense, high-effort mile run) for good measure.
The sets were performed back-to-back, with no rest until his final exercise was complete.
“My legs are on fire,” he told his followers, addressing the camera afterwards.
The Rock then revealed that he finishes his leg day off with ‘lighter’ squats – putting 225lbs on the bar.
“I like to put my squats at the end of the workout because I don’t like to go too heavy with squats. I’ve got 225 on the bar now,” he said.
“No need to put all that weight on my back, those days are over.

“Maybe 10 reps (of 225lbs) – my legs are on fire, don’t judge.”
It’s fair to say that most of Johnson’s followers would not be in a position to judge such an effort.
Squatting 225lbs is a significant achievement for those who don’t power-lift, or commit their lives to working out.
It can take months, or even years, for the average person to build up to that strength level.
So for The Rock to squat 225lbs – at the end of his workout no less – is very impressive at the age of 52.
“Reverse engineering my workouts like this (especially leg day) has allowed for great steady progress and gains – while not destroying my joints,” he wrote, captioning the post.

“I’ve beaten the hell outta my body up enough over the years, I’m good now. Stay strong, train smart, have a productive week.”
The Rock regularly posts his workout videos on his social media, but even to this day, they are still leaving fans in awe.
“Wow! The hardest worker in the room,” one person wrote, responding to his latest effort.
“The People’s Champ never backs down from a good leg day,” another said, referencing his WWE days.
“My legs hurt after like a quarter of this leg day, time to go to work,” a third wrote, taking inspiration from The Rock’s workout.
