Michael Strahan has given fans an update on his Fox Sports future.
The former NFL defensive end was a one-man wrecking crew during his 15-year pro career.

The Pro Football Hall of Famer set the record for most NFL single-season quarterback sacks and was also part of the New York Giants team that won Super Bowl XLII over the New England Patriots in his final season in 2007.
Since walking away from the sport, Strahan has become a much loved media personality and NFL analyst on Fox NFL Sunday.
He was part of the network’s coverage for Super Bowl LIX — won by the Philadelphia Eagles over the Kansas City Chiefs — alongside the likes of Terry Bradshaw, Jimmy Johnson, and Tom Brady.
However, it was a sad occasion for some, including analyst Michael Vick, who emotionally bid farewell to Fox as he embarks on a new career.
But Strahan has provided a telling update on his own Fox future — a role that reportedly pays him $2 million a year, although the exact terms of his contract have not been disclosed.
Following the Super Bowl, the 53-year-old posted on Instagram to let fans know he’ll be returning for the 2025 NFL season.
“#SuperBowlLIX on @nflonfox,” he wrote.
“What a time with the fellas.
“Until next year!,” he added.
“Best group on TV!!! None better when it comes to football! I miss it already,” one fan posted.

“Best team ever. Can ya’ll host every year?!?!” another added.
While Strahan will be covering the next NFL season, he won’t be on duties for Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
In fact, none of the Fox crew will be.
That’s because the big game is covered as part of a four-year broadcasting rotation with the three other major TV networks.
It means Fox, and Strahan, will not cover the Super Bowl again until 2029 — after NBC, ESPN, and CBS all take turns televising the NFL showpiece.
It’s unclear if Johnson and Bradshaw will still be with Fox by the time it next broadcasts the Super Bowl as their futures remains uncertain.
Johnson was the subject of a career tribute before Super Bowl LIX.
An AI mock-up of the 81-year-old broadcast legend talked viewers through his coaching career, ageing as the segment continued.
The two-time Super Bowl champion then gave an emotional speech to the cameras.
“I can truly say because of my family and because of ya’ll, I’ve never been happier than in this time of my life. Happiest I’ve ever been in my life,” he said to his co-hosts.
“Was that goodbye?” Curt Menefee asked.
“One day at a time,” replied Johnson, fuelling speculation his retirement might not be too far away.

Likewise, Bradshaw recently revealed when he plans on walking away from the network that he has spent the better part of three decades with.
“I told my wife before I left the room a while ago,” the former Steelers QB said at a Fox Sports press conference in New Orleans before Super Bowl LIX.
“I was sitting there and I got two years left at Fox. I’m 76. It’s a young man’s game, I get that. Everybody wants the new thing.
“So I said if we can get to the next Super Bowl, I’ll be 80.
“I think that’s time and that’s 80 years old and that’s pushing it.”
Bradshaw says he has two years remaining on his contract, so he would need to be resigned and extended for two more years if he is hoping to reach his goal of covering Super Bowl LXIII with Fox.
Brady, meanwhile, should still be with the network by then.
Last year, the network signed the seven-time Super Bowl winner to a ten-year, $375 million deal.
That means he’ll still have another four years left on his contract when Fox next broadcasts the Super Bowl in 2029.
