Shannon Sharpe runs a tight ship.

The Hall of Fame tight end won three Super Bowls under legendary head coach Mike Shanahan and underrated boss Brian Billick.

Chad Johnson couldn’t believe what he was hearing

You don’t get far in the NFL without discipline and Sharpe has taken what he learned in the locker room into his own house.

He left Nightcap co-host Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson in stitches with a brilliant anecdote about his eldest daughter Kayla in the latest episode of their podcast.

Sharpe has a cast-iron rule — no tattoos or piercings when you’re under my roof.

And he was willing to go to extreme lengths to make sure it was obeyed.

“My daughter got a tattoo against my wishes,” he began. “I ran her up there to get it taken off.”

“Come on. What you doing? You gotta let the kids live a little bit,” insisted Ochocinco. “You made your daughter get the tattoo removed? How much was the procedure?”

“Probably about two thousand dollars,” Sharpe replied. “I can smell the flesh burning.”

Sharpe’s daughter tried her best to cover up her tattoo but got rumbled thanks to the cream she needed to apply.

“I guess there’s a cream that you put on it to help it heal,” Sharpe explained. “My girlfriend’s like, ‘What is this?’ I was like, ‘I don’t know what it is Kayla bought this.’ So she Googled it.”

Kayla had copied Rihanna’s ribcage tattoo and also tried to get away with breaking another rule.

After Ocho said his close friend was ‘too strict,’ Sharpe went into another anecdote.

“It was about 100 degrees,” he explained. “She got a scarf around her neck. We at Houston’s.”

Kayla tried to say she was cold but Sharpe wasn’t buying it.

The three-time world champ continued: “I said, ‘Girl, take that damn scarf off you like a damn fool.’ “

Sharpe’s daughter had decided to get a dermal anchor.

“Got this thing right here pierced,” Sharpe said pointing at his neck.

“If you didn’t know better, you thought Kayla was on death row. Took that girl two hours to eat a burger and fries.”

Sharpe then drove over to the shop where she got it done and asked the man who put the piercing in to take it straight back out again.

“Once you get to 18 and you in college, get your whole body tattooed,” he added.

“That’s your money. That’s your body. You want to look a damn fool, have at it, but you’re not gonna do that in my house. That’s not gonna happen.”

Ocho accused his friend of running his house like The Green Mile — a film about death row inmates — to close out a hilarious segment.
