Beau Greaves has made history with her stunning run on day one of the UK Open – winning her opening three matches.
The three-time women’s world champion is making her debut at Butlin’s Minehead this weekend.

Having qualified as one of the eight best players from the PDC Development Tour, Greaves began her campaign in the first round.
After thrashing both Stefan Bellmont and Rhys Griffin 6-1 on Friday, though, she had the chance to set a record against Mickey Mansell.
Greaves continued her fine form by sealing a 6-2 victory over the Northern Irishman.
In doing so, the 21-year-old became the first female player to win three matches at the UK Open.
She surpassed the ground-breaking achievements of Deta Hedman and Lisa Ashton in the past.
Hedman picked up a pair of wins on her way to the fourth round in 2005, whilst Ashton beat Aaron Beeney at Minehead four years ago.
Her triumph over Mansell also saw Greaves enter the open draw for the fourth round.
The last 64 stage sees the top 32 players on the PDC Order of Merit enter the tournament.
With no seeding protection for the draw, Greaves was paired up with world number one Luke Humphries.
The 2024 world champion is fresh from winning on night four of the Premier League in Exeter on Thursday.

Humphries has also already won a PDC Major this year after lifting the World Masters title at the start of February.
She will take on Cool Hand on Friday night for a place in the fifth round in Minehead.
Greaves’ run at the UK Open follows an impressive start to the year for Beau ‘n’ Arrow.
Despite missing out on a PDC Tour Card, she appeared at each of the year’s first two Players Championship events.
Across her three Pro Tour matches earlier this month, Greaves picked up an impressive 6-5 victory over world number 17 Josh Rock.
The two-time Women’s Matchplay champion has also won six events across the Challenge Tour, Development Tour and Women’s Series already in 2025.
