Roy Jones Jr. appeared to have the time of his life at UFC 306.

The boxing legend was caught on camera singing along when Argentine fighter Esteban Ribovics walked out to his 2004 hit song ‘Can’t be Touched’ at the Las Vegas Sphere on Saturday night.

A camera panned to Jones Jr. and the former four-weight boxing world champion could be seen singing along to the certified classic hit.

UFC commentators Jon Anik, Daniel Cormier, and Joe Rogan loved what they saw, nearly as much as the fans watching along at home.

One tweeted: “Roy Jones sitting front row Ribovocs walk in out of his song is so sick.”

Another said: “Roy Jones Jr. rapping along to his song “Can’t Be Touched” as Ribovics walks out to it at UFC Noche in the Sphere is all types of iconic.”

A third person added: “Roy Jones Jr still that dude.”

Someone else commented: “Seeing somebody walkout to can’t be touched but then seeing Roy Jones Jr. in the crowd singing his own song was priceless.”

Fans were surprised to see the 55-year-old at UFC 306 because a big boxing event was going on at the same time down the road at the T-Mobile.

Canelo Alvarez outpointed Edgar Berlanga over 12 rounds to defend his WBA, WBC, and WBO super-middleweight belts – but Jones Jr. choose to watch the UFC make history instead.

The £2billion Sphere hadn’t hosted a sporting event until Dana White splurged over £15million to put on a truly memorable event that wowed Rogan.

“They got a historic MMA fight going on in The Sphere, and I wanna see that,” Jones said as he confirmed his UFC 306 attendance on Friday.

“I’m highly excited about it. I love doing and attending things like that. You’ve got to remember we were the first to take boxing into Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

“So, I love firsts, that’s when you’re really breaking ground you’re setting a path, you’re not following a trail, you’re burning a trail.

“[Boxing] better learn from the UFC, but the other good thing is, why aren’t me and [Jim Lampley] commentating? Because they want to pay people cheap labour!”

Jones Jr. shared a video to Instagram that showed him embracing the UFC star who used his walkout song before winning a ‘Fight of the Year’ contender.

And that was a the start of the night. Jones Jr. also enjoyed two title fights from his front-row seat.

Merab Dvalishvili put on a dominant wrestling display to dethrone Sean O’Malley in the main event and Valentina Shevchenko won back her flyweight belt from Alexa Grasso in the co-headliner.

It seems UFC 306 won’t be the last time Jones Jr. attends a UFC show.
