Bunyaruguru United confirms key additions prior to 2024-2025 football season

Bunyaruguru United Football Club has confirmed the capture of key players in preparation for the 2024-2025 Western regional league.

The galaxy of star assembled by Noah Mugerwa’s coached side includes forwards; Sunny Kaija, Ali Faishal Ssebyanzi and Elias Birungi.

The defenders are; Robert Kitabalwa, Najib Tusaba Gwaidho, Vincent “Rasta” Kibuuka and Ashraf Magembe.

The midfield docket has Hassan Sanya, Yosia Kisa and Mark Ssali with a goalkeeper Juma Kirabira.

“We have started the early preparations for the new season. With the right chemistry and gelling, we shall assemble a formidable team” Mugerwa revealed.

Clubs poached from:

Kaija signed from Rugarama Football Club, Kibuka and Magembe (Kaaro Karungi), Sanya (Bugisu United), Gwaidho (Gaddafi), Kisa (Lunguja Galaxy), Ssebyanzi (Lungunja Galaxy), Ssali (Sports Arena), Kitabalwa (Sports Club Villa), Birungi (Kiryandongo) whilst goalkeeper Kirabira (Katwe United).

Bunyaruguru United Football Club hosts their home games at Nyakasharu playground in Rubirizi district.

Released:

The club has so far officially released Steven Bamwine and Shakib Mayanja.

The new season is ear-marked to kick off mid- October 2024.
