Mauricio Ruffy destroyed King Green at UFC 313 with one of the most perfect wheel kicks of all time.
Ruffy got UFC 313’s main card underway in Las Vegas and finished it in devastating fashion.

He landed a beautifully-timed spinning wheel kick just over the two minute mark and Green was knocked out instantly.
UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier was on commentary for the fight and emphasised his shock following the knockout.
“That’s one of the best knockouts I’ve ever seem in my entire life,” he said
Cormier later added: “My jaw is on the floor.”
The KO marked Ruffy’s seventh professional MMA win in a row, while it was just the sixth wheel kick KO in UFC history.
“That was one of the most beautiful wheel kicks I’ve ever seen performed inside the Octagon,” Joe Rogan said before he spoke with Ruffy.
“Hey Las Vegas, absolutely, what do you think?” Ruffy told Rogan when asked if he had anyone in mind for his next fight.
“Mauricio Ruffy, Beneil Dariush, a Fight Night main event – what do you think?”
Ruffy, the former bodyguard of a Chinese billionaire, was introduced to MMA after his brother built a boxing ring in their back garden.
The 28-year-old has drawn comparisons to former two-division champion Conor McGregor from the sport’s biggest personalities, due to his unique stance and fighting style.

Cormier and Rogan both acknowledged this as Ruffy was making his Octagon walk at UFC 313, saying the Brazilian ‘moves’ like McGregor.
The prospect at 155-pounds remains undefeated, having claimed victories over James Llontop and Jamie Mullarkey since emerging through Dana White‘s Contender Series in October 2023.
Dariush is eighth in the UFC lightweight rankings, while Ruffy is currently unranked, but will likely break into the top 15 after his performance at UFC 313.
Ruffy’s incredible KO was witnessed by his teammates at Brazilian MMA gym Fighting Nerds and fellow UFC fighters Jean Silva and Carlos Prates, who both had front row seats at the Las Vegas card.
UFC 313 was originally delayed as two fighters, including Tom Aspinall‘s ex-rival Curtis Blayes, pulled out of their bouts after suffering illnesses.
Before Ruffy took centre stage at the T-Mobile Arena, Joshua Van had secured a unanimous decision victory over Rei Tsuruya, while Bruno Ferreira submitted Armen Petrosyan.
