Last week’s action in Nottingham saw Gerwyn Price defeat Luke Littler in the final to win his second night of the tournament and lift the Welshman up to third place in the Premier League table ahead of Thursday’s visit to his home nation.

The 2021 world champion is in action in front of his home fans in the final quarter final of the night against Rob Cross, who sits down in sixth place in the standings, winning four of his six quarter finals so far but is yet to reach the final.

The winner of that tie will take on the winner of Littler versus Nathan Aspinall in the third quarter final of the night.

The 18-year-old reigning world and Premier League champion is currently top of the standings with two wins to his name, while Aspinall is fifth having reached two finals but is yet claim his first night victory.

The action gets underway in Cardiff on Thursday night with the two new entrants to this season’s Premier League, Chris Dobey and Stephen Bunting going head to head.

Dobey reached the final of Night 1 of the new Premier League campaign, but has last five matches in a row since, while Bunting is 0-6 in his first season back in the competition in 10 years and will be desperate for his first win to come this week.

The winner of the opening quarter will take on either world number one Luke Humphries or seven-time Premier League champion Michael van Gerwen, placed second and fourth in the table respectively, in the opening semi final.

Humphries has won two nights of Premier League action this season while the Dutchman is yet to reach a final but has won five of his six quarter finals so far.
