Whatever they are feeding the kids in Canada is clearly working.
First off the production line was Zach Edey — the 7ft 4in Memphis Grizzlies rookie making waves in the NBA after bursting onto the scene during March Madness in 2024.

Next up was Olivier Rioux — the world’s tallest teenager who will smash the record for tallest college hooper when he takes to the court.
The 19-year-old from Montreal, Quebec, is currently redshirting with the Florida Gators.
His record may not stand for too long as Jeremy Gohier, who hails from the same city, is already towering opponents at 7ft 3in.
The teen was already 6ft 10in — four inches taller than the average NBA player — when he was 12.
He has gone on a huge growth spurt since and is being compared to San Antonio Spurs sensation Victor Wembanyama, who is listed at the same height.
Gohier is currently doing a special sports studies program at Georges-Vanier High School and secured a Petro-Canada FACE grant, which is allowing him to travel to tournaments all over North America.
It was at one of those — the 2024 MSHTV Camp in Westfield, Indiana — that his highlight reel went viral.
Gohier was seen effortlessly dunking over other middle schoolers and denying one opponent with a one-handed swat.
His movement was good enough to get up and down the court and one clip showed him driving past an opponent to the basket.
Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III caught wind of the tape and shared it with his 2.2 million followers on X.

Most fans were impressed with what they saw.
“Super tall kids usually look like a drunk baby giraffe when playing sports but this kid has very fluid movements,” commented one.
“What are they feeding this kid! Even if this kid tops out in skill, he’ll still make the nba or some other pro league if he plays good defense,” added a second.
A third branded Gohier a ‘cheat code’ and compared him to NBA superstar Wembanyama.
“Basketball doesn’t even look fun at that height. Too easy,” noted a fourth.
Others had some advice for Gohier’s parents.

“If this my son im telling him he can only shoot 3 pointers and play minimal defense. Anything else is cheating the game,” wrote one.
“This is silly…just for his own development he should be playing up,” added another in what was a popular comment.
Gohier’s highlights came from a game designed to show off the best teenage prospects in front on media outlets and scouts.
It isn’t clear at what level he is playing back home but it seems to be working.
The prospect is certain to get at least a look-in from Division I schools if he keeps it up, especially if his growth continues.
Fans desperate to see him take on the best of the NBA — and potentially break 7ft 7in giants Gheorghe Muresan and Manute Bol’s record as the league’s tallest player — may have to wait until 2030.
