Everyone loves a starting five debate.
So now that Steph Curry has given his updated all-time starting five, fans have something to debate, especially because the 11-time NBA All-Star has made a few changes.

Curry is one of the greatest ever basketball players and also one of the most influential athletes in sports.
The four-time NBA champion has achieved everything in the sport and seen it all, so when someone of his stature offers his all-time starting five, it’s probably one we should listen too.
A few months ago, he sat down with YouTube stars Dude Perfect and gave his lineup.
Asked who the best five-man NBA roster ever would include, Steph said: “Shaq at the center, Tim Duncan at the power forward, LeBron at the three, MJ at the two and me at the one.”
It’s a starting unit that differs from the one he has previously given; only last year, he said his picks were Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, and O’Neal.
Meaning he has bumped off NBA legends Magic and Kobe.
While removing the pair is pretty hard, Curry’s addition of himself and James is hard to argue.
James, who has already cemented himself as one of the greatest basketball players, if not the best, has enjoyed a remarkable career.
His resume includes four NBA championships, four Finals MVPs, four NBA MVPs, and two Olympic gold medals, along with being the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, solidifying himself as a basketball icon.

Curry’s introduction of himself is also one that is totally fair.
The 37-year-old has picked up four NBA championships, two regular season MVPs, and 1 Finals MVP.
He is also a two-time NBA scoring champion, an eleven-time NBA All-Star, and a ten-time All-NBA Team selection.
Curry’s other picks of O’Neal, Duncan, and Michael Jordan are ones very few would bother challenging.
Duncan is considered the greatest power forward of all time and has one of the best NBA resumes.
He is a five-time NBA champion with the San Antonio Spurs, a two-time NBA MVP, a three-time NBA Finals MVP, and a 15-time All-Star.

While O’Neal has the title of being the most dominant big man of all time.
Along with the title, he enjoyed four NBA championships, 3 Finals MVP awards, 1 NBA MVP, and 15 All-Star selections.
When it comes to His Airness, Jordan’s career is relatively self-explanatory as the NBA great is synonymous with the sport of basketball.
Jordan’s resume entails six NBA championships, six Finals MVP awards, five regular-season MVP awards, and ten scoring titles.
Maybe Curry will change his starting five again, but his 2025 edition is one that most people could get behind.
