Despite both being amongst the top three divisions for some years this is the first meeting between these two sides in the FA Cup.

And it took them to be the final eight to finally be drawn against each other.

Brighton will be hoping to get some revenge on Nottingham Forest who beat them 7-0 in the Premier League already, followed by a very different result 2-2 in the reverse fixture.

The Seagulls last progressed from the quarter-finals back in 2022/23 beating Grimsby 5-0.
