Jude Bellingham could land himself in hot water after kicking the VAR monitor in the aftermath of Real Madrid’s shock 2-1 defeat to Valencia.
The 21-year-old failed to keep his emotions in check following the full-time whistle as Los Blancos lost in dramatic fashion on Saturday.

A fifth-minute stoppage time winner from Hugo Doro has left Carlo Ancelotti’s trailing LaLiga leaders Barcelona by four points with eight matches left.
And Bellingham’s anger spilled over as he made his way down the Bernabeu tunnel – taking aim at the pitchisde monitor in the process.
The England international vented his frustration by kicking the base of the monitor with his left boot, which left it shaking.
And as per Royal Spanish Football Federation [RFEF] rules, he could now face punishment, which may result in a fine.
That is because the RFEF handle ‘acts of aggression against equipment’.
And this could see Bellingham be slapped with a ban spanning from one to three matches if he is found to have deliberately damaged league property.
Should the monitor remain in perfect condition, the ex-Borussia Dortmund star could still be sanctioned for ‘bringing the game into disrepute’ or ‘disrespectful conduct’.
Ultimately, Bellingham could just be given a stern warning over his behaviour – which Madrid fans will be hoping that’s the most he receives.
Bellingham was still left dejected in the hours that followed Real’s defeat to Valencia, after he took to social media to express his irritation.
With Real to face Arsenal away in their Champions League quarter-final first leg on Tuesday night, he knows his side cannot put in another drab display.

Writing on his Instagram story, he said: “Nowhere near good enough from us. Must change for Tuesday!”
It was a view shared by goal machine Kylian Mbappe, who simply stated: “A bad day for us. Full focus on Tuesday.”
For Madrid, supporters may be concerned over their defensive frailties that have been highlighted in recent times.
In their last three matches, they have shipped in seven goals in all competitions – all of which have come on home soil.
And Arsenal fans will be hoping Real get exposed at the Emirates – especially with Bukayo Saka in line for his first start of 2025.
It is the first official meeting between the two teams since their last-16 battle in the 2005/06 season, which saw the Gunners prevail.
