‘End of conversation’ – Fans claim Brock Lensar surpassed as WWE’s ‘most explosive’ star after viral video

One rising WWE star is rapidly being replacing Brock Lesnar as the company’s most explosive ever star in the minds of fans.

Lesnar was a phenom in WWE, not least in his formative years when, paired with Paul Heyman, he was dubbed ‘the next big thing.’

Few stars enjoyed a rise in WWE like Brock Lesnar

First signed by the company as a mere pup in 2000, debuting on the ‘main’ roster a couple of years later and quickly rising through storylines to become a main event player.

Within months, he’d won the 2002 King of the Ring and, by the tail end of the same year, scored a victory over wrestling legend Hulk Hogan.

As if to emphasise his rapid ascent, he was crowned WWE Champion within 126 days of his debut, making him the youngest man to win that gold in the company’s entire history – he was just 25.

To say the rest was history for The Beast from there would be an understatement. He’s a ten-time former world champion as well as having won the Royal Rumble on two occasions.

The now 47-year-old’s in-ring legacy is one based very much on strength and power, his immense physicality largely unmatched before his time in the ring or indeed since.

That might be about to change, however, thanks to the sheer athleticism and freakish power of a member of the 2025 roster.

A former NFL player for the Baltimore Ravens, Bron Breakker has adjusted with ease to the world of professional wrestling since joining WWE in 2020.

He’s already amassed reigns as an NXT Champion and tag champ and is in his second stint as Intercontinental Champion.

Breakker is catching the eye, too, with what’s becoming his trademark speed and uncanny strength – not unlike Lesnar’s.

The second generation star – whose father and uncle were The Steiner Brothers, a hugely successful wrestling tag team – has already crunched his way through many a victim, and claimed another on this week’s Raw.

After Penta’s victory over Dominik Mysterio on Netflix, Judgement Day goon Carlito stepped in to attack the crowd favourite, Breakker racing onto the scene to save the day.

Carlito attempted to cut the champ off at the pass but was absolutely wiped out by an insane looking spear that saw Breakker hurtle through the air and almost land on his neck.

Videos of his charge to the ring and the eye-watering impact have quickly amassed millions of views across social media. One X account summed up the general response by penning: “Is this the greatest spear ever? Phenomenal from Bron Breakker.”

Another said: “This is the best spear ever. End of conversation,” while a third, noticing the many parallels with Lesnar, noted: “This is the most explosive athlete in professional wrestling history. More than Kenny. More than Brock. One of One.”

A third lamented: “Bron Breakker vs. Brock Lesnar would have been money.”

Lesnar’s current status with WWE remains uncertain.

The mammoth performer hasn’t featured in a match since a loss to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam in 2023.

In early 2024 named within a Wall Street Journal report investigating allegations of sexual assault and trafficking levied at former WWE boss Vince McMahon.

Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque noted last year the door was still open for a Lesnar comeback to WWE, though the build to this year’s WrestleMania suggests any such return is still some way off.
