Defending champion and current world number one Scottie Scheffler heads into this year’s Masters as 4/1 favourite to win the tournament for a third time, and doing so would make the American the first to win the major in consecutive years since Tiger Woods in 2002.
The Masters remains the only major missing from Rory McIlroy‘s CV as the Northern Irishman looks to complete his career Grand Slam, 11 years after his most recent major victory.
The world number two is in strong form following recent victories at the Players Championship and the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am earlier this year, and is second favourite at 11/2 to don the green jacket this year.
Collin Morikawa achieved a personal best T3 at Augusta in last year’s tournament, and the two-time major winner heads into this week’s opening major of the year among the favourites at 13/1 for victory in what would his first at Augusta.
The world number four has had a strong year so far but is yet to win a tournament, though second place finishes in the Sentry and the Arnold Palmer Invitational and top 10 finish in the Players Championship stands him in good stead for this week.
2023 champion John Rahm is also in the mix at 12/1, making him third favourite for his second Masters title, as is fellow LIVer and last year’s US Open champion Bryson DeChambeau, who is 14/1 to win to win his first Masters Tournament.
25-year-old Swede Ludvig Aberg, also at 13/1, finished last year’s Masters in second place in what his major championship debut, and the world number five won his PGA Tour title back in February with victory at at the Genesis Invitational.
