The preparations to have a tranquil 2024 Entebbe Christmas Cup are in a high gear.

The tournament is expected to lure as many as 16 teams with each of the participating teams paying Ug.Shs 150.000.

All the matches will be played at the Nkumba Primary School playgrounds (Nkumba Kataka).

According to the chairperson of the local organizing committee Ramathan Kasirye, the tournament will kick off on 24th October 2024.

The final will be played on this year’s Christmas Day (25th December 2025).

Kasirye asserts that the tournament is open to all categories of players (those with FUFA licences in various divisions) with the key objectives of providing entertainment to the masses, identifying talented players and promoting them.

The Annual Entebbe Christmas Cup 2024 is back. Registration is on-going at Ug.Shs 150,000 per team. The tournament is basically to promote new talents and provide entertainment to the people. All the matches will be played at Nkumba Kataka grounds.

Awards and Prizes:

The winning team will smile home with a bull, gold medals and a glittering trophy.

A goat, silver medals and a ball will go to the second placed team.

The tournament top scorer will take home a TV flat screen.

The top four teams (all semi-finalists) will receive a set of new jerseys.
