Paddy Pimblett’s last three UFC opponents have had a combined losing streak of 13 fights including Michael Chandler.
The Liverpudlian has been in a remarkable vein of form, having burst his way into the lightweight limelight, having won his first seven fights in the UFC.

In Pimblett’s most recent win, he performed incredibly in the biggest step-up of his career beating veteran Chandler at UFC 314 in Miami this weekend.
But the American wasn’t in his best form, having now lost his last three fights including to Dustin Poirier and Charles Oliveira prior.
And incredibly a mind-blowing stat has shown that Pimblett’s last three rivals are all on a combined 13-fight losing skid.
The Liverpudlian first fought Tony Ferguson who is now on an eight-fight losing streak before retiring from the UFC.
His defeats include against Nate Diaz, Chandler, Justin Gaethje and of course his points defeat to Pimblett.
The talented prospect then fought King Green who is on a two-fight losing run including his July 2024 defeat to Pimblett.
But for now it is largely irrelevant with the British star simply delighted to be working towards the top ten of the rankings.
It is expected he will take Chandler’s No.7 ranking, with the fight to propel him into the top ten for the first time.
Huge fights now remain for the emerging superstar, who is really developing star power.
Conor McGregor threw his hat in the ring just a day before, insisting he was waiting for Pimblett with new training footage.

Huge fights with top ten contenders including Oliveira and Gaethje could also be on the horizon.
He said after his victory: “Everything we worked on just happened here.
“This is how we win, we game plan, we use our fight IQ, and we beat f****** up.
“Anyone else got any questions? I want anyone in the top 4 or top 5. I want that world title.
“You can all laugh as much as you want and say I’ll never be champ, just like you said I’ll never get ranked, never be in the top 10. Well, what now, you gang of mushrooms?
“I want Dustin [Poirier], Justin [Gaethje], Charles [Oliveira] or the little posh boy Arman [Tsarukyan].

“I respect Justin, Dustin and Charles, Charles is the biggest legend out of them all.”
UFC president Dana White echoed them sentiments and was impressed with Chandler’s win.
He added: “Paddy Pimblett showed tonight that he is the real deal.
“Beating Michael Chandler and beating him the way he did, I don’t know how you can doubt the kid anymore.
“Tonight was a pretty big-name opponent too but he’s in that spot now where he’s going to be fighting top guys.”
