Barcelona already have one foot in the semi-finals of the Champions League following their 4-0 thumping of Borussia Dortmund in last week’s first leg. Hansi Flick’s side produced a sumptuous showing last time out.
There is surely no way back for Dortmund from here, but Barcelona must not allow complacency to creep in.

Borussia Dortmund vs Barcelona predictions
At the midway point of their Champions League quarter-final against Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund are in an unenviable position. Even Hercules might pass up the task in front of Niko Kovac’s men.
A 4-0 defeat in Catalonia last week has left Dortmund on the brink of elimination. They need a miracle to turn the tie around on Tuesday, when Barcelona head to Signal Iduna Park. Realistically, the German team are merely playing for pride.
Barcelona produced a scintillating showing in the first leg. They scored four times (one each for Raphinha and Lamine Yamal, plus a brace from Robert Lewandowski) without reply and could easily have notched another couple of goals.
Dortmund went into the match as underdogs, but the 90 minutes turned out worse than even their pessimistic supporters anticipated.
Barcelona were superior in every department. They took the initiative from the first minute and pinned Dortmund back in their own half. BVB struggled to get up the pitch and the pressure applied on them from Barcelona was ultimately too great to withstand.
Emre Can, the Dortmund captain who filled in at centre-back due to injuries, pulled no punches after the game.
“We didn’t play well,” he admitted. “We played too softly, weren’t cohesive enough and made simple mistakes. At this level, they are punished harshly – that’s why we lost here.”
Dortmund were better in the Bundesliga at the weekend, drawing 2-2 with Bayern Munich, but they have a mountain to climb in the second leg.
Barcelona have been very impressive in Europe this season. They won six out of eight games in the league phase, before a comfortable 4-1 aggregate triumph over Benfica in the round of 16.
No team in the tournament has scored as many goals as Barcelona, who have beaten opposition goalkeepers 36 times in 11 games. That tally includes the three goals they scored in a 3-2 win at Signal Iduna Park before Christmas.
Despite his team’s commanding lead, Hansi Flick is not taking anything for granted as he prepares to return to Germany.
“Dortmund are a good team, so we are already aware that we need to travel over there and commit as few errors as possible,” he said last week. “Our three guys up front are terrific and very important but so is our defence.”

Borussia Dortmund vs Barcelona betting tips
Barcelona are aiming to finish the job at Signal Iduna Park on Tuesday evening.
Barcelona to win
An early Borussia Dortmund goal would give the hosts a glimmer of hope and potentially make Barcelona a little nervous.
But if the Blaugrana can hold out for the first 20 minutes and quieten down the crowd at Signal Iduna Park, they should be pretty comfortable.

If the game wears on and Dortmund are still four goals down (or worse), they will very quickly lose faith. Kovac may even start to look towards this weekend’s clash with Borussia Monchengladbach.
Barcelona showed last week that they are a better team than Dortmund. On top of that, they are not the sort of side to sit on a lead.
The odds on an away win are too attractive to pass up.
Back Barcelona to win at 10/11 with SBK.
Barcelona to score in both halves
As we touched on above, Barcelona have been the most free-scoring team in this season’s Champions League.
Averaging more than three goals per game is no mean feat and they have been prolific in other competitions too.
Flick might be tempted to make one or two changes given his side’s healthy lead, but that would be a risk.
The better policy would be to start with his strongest possible team and then make substitutions later once progression is sewn up.
Indeed, Barca have an incentive to complete the job as quickly as possible, so goals either side of half-time are a distinct possibility.
Go for Barcelona to score in both halves at 5/4 with Betfred
Raphinha to score any time
Lewandowski was on song against his former club in the first leg, notching a brace to help Barcelona to victory.
He has now scored 105 goals in the Champions League, an exceptional tally which places him behind only Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in the all-time rankings.
In terms of this season alone, just one player has found the net more often than Lewandowski – and that is his team-mate Raphinha.
The Brazilian has scored 12 goals in the Champions League and we expect him to add to his total at Signal Iduna Park.
Raphinha is enjoying an excellent season and he can punish Borussia Dortmund further on Tuesday.
