Still listed as day-to-day with an upper-body injury, the Golden Knights’s leading point-getter Jack Eichel could be still sitting in the press box on Tuesday. In 76 appearances in this term, Eichel has amassed 93 points. 

Nicolas Roy has put in an impressive performance with his increased ice time on Saturday versus Nashville. The 28-year-old capped off over just over 18 minutes of work registering a goal and an assist. Roy is one shy from tying his career high which was set in 2021-22 when he tallied 15 goals.

Carrying the Flames this far into the season has been the play in the blue paint by Dustin Wolf. The rookie netminder has been rock solid on Saddledome ice, possessing a 2.28 GAA and a .922 save percentage. In his 52 starts in the crease this campaign, Wolf has cataloged 28 wins. 

Nazem Kadri’s veteran presence is paying off with dividends as we approach the conclusion of the 2024-25 season. Kadri has rejuvenated his offensive abilities this year, lighting the lamp on 32 occasions, which is tied for a career-high. Through 983 career regular season outings, the London, Ontario native has retrieved 706 points.

Entering this tilt on Tuesday, this matchup on Calgary ice has produced five straight unders. While the Flames have had some barnburner contests of late materializing at home, we still feel with the stakes in this affair for them and taking on a solid club this could result in a lower-scoring encounter. Add in the fact both sides retain solid goalies who are known to steal a result for their squad. 

Overall both combatants have fabricated solid trends this year when it comes to participating in clashes that see under 6.5 goals being recorded. Only in nine instances has seven or more goals been featured on the scoreboard at the Saddledome this season. For Vegas, 25 of 39 away battles have seen under the 6.5 total mark hitting after the final buzzer. We feel this divisional confrontation should see both teams infrequently sneak pucks past the padded men between the pipes.
