The dust has hardly settled on Rory McIlroy’s momentous victory at the Masters as the leading lights of the PGA Tour head to Harbour Town Links for the latest signature event, the RBC Heritage.
The Green Jacket winner will be taking a well-deserved break and, while defending champion and world number one Scottie Scheffler is the hot favourite, there could be value to be had further down the deep field.

RBC Heritage betting tips
- Patrick Cantlay to win the RBC Heritage @ 16/1
- Sungjae Im to win the RBC Heritage @ 40/1
- Bud Cauley to win the RBC Heritage @ 70/1
Patrick Cantlay to win @ 16/1
It is more than three years since Patrick Cantlay collected his last PGA Tour success at the BMW Championship, but Harbour Town Links is one course where he tends to be in the mix and this could be the week he finally gets over the line.
The tight Georgian track is plainly to his liking as he has posted top-ten finishes in six of his seven visits, coming closest to success when he was beaten in a play-off by Jordan Spieth three years ago.
Cantlay was one off the pace when Matt Fitzpatrick won in extra holes the following year and, while he would have hoped for better than 36th at Augusta last week, it was not a disgraceful performance.
He has had top-five finishes at the Genesis Invitational and the American Express this year and with many of the top challengers jaded after 20205’s first Major, he could emerge from the pack for a long-overdue success.
Sungjae Im to win @ 40/1
Sungjae Im had been struggling going into the Masters since he was fourth at the Farmers Insurance Open at the end of January, but his performance last week provides cause for optimism.
The South Korean finished T5 come Sunday, which was his fourth top-20 finish in six visits to Augusta and that should spur him on at a venue where he has performed solidly.
Finishes of 13-21-7-12 demonstrate that he can perform well on this fiddly track and we can anticipate another strong showing from a player who often flies under the radar..
Bud Cauley to win @ 70/1
It could be that someone who watched the Masters on TV takes the Heritage by the scruff of the neck and the formbook suggests in-form Bud Cauley could be an outsider to follow.
The 35-year-old from Daytona Beach, Florida has yet to claim a PGA Tour success but he heads to Georgia in excellent nick, having finished sixth at the Players Championship, fourth at the Valspar Championship and fifth at the Texas Open in his last three efforts.
This will be his eighth visit to Harbour Town with a best of ninth in 2017 when he flew out of the traps with a 63, so he may build on those happy memories.
