Aryna Sabalenka showed her humorous side despite falling to defeat against Jelena Ostapenko at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix.
The world no.1 was beaten 6-4 6-1 by her Latvian opponent in the WTA 500 tournament final in Stuttgart, Germany.

Ostapenko bagged around £123,000 by winning the title although it’s not the only prize she collected on Monday.
Tournament winners are gifted a car, with the 2025 champion now the owner of Porsche Macan Turbo Electric.
The classy model reaches 62mph in 3.3 seconds and is priced from just under £97,000.
Whilst Sabalenka missed out on the Porsche through her defeat, she joked that she’s ready to purchase one for herself.
“First of all, I want to congratulate Jelena and her team on a great week, you played really great this week,” she said afterwards.
“You were a better player than me today, that’s all about it so well done. Enjoy driving this beautiful car!
“I’m glad I can afford this car, so you know what? After this final, I’m going to go and order one because I guess this is the only way for me!”
It is now the fourth time Sabalenka has lost in the Stuttgart final, having been beaten in 2021, 2022 and 2023 previously.
Ostapenko also jokingly said: “Congrats Aryna on a great week. I think you hate me now because you wanted this car so badly!
“But I’m sure you’ll get it another time, and it’s great to share the court with you. You’re such a champion, so congrats to you and your team.”

Ostapenko then took the wheel of her new car for the first time and drove it onto the court before posing with her trophy.
The 27-year-old beat Dayana Yastremska, Emma Navarro, Iga Swiatek and Ekaterina Alexandrova en route to the final.
Victory over Sabalenka secured her first singles title at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix.
It was also her fourth win against a top ten player in 2025 after beating Jasmine Paolini once and Swiatek twice.
Sabalenka has also had a strong year having first won the Brisbane International in January before the Miami Open last month.
She also reached the final of the Australian Open but finished as the runner-up to Madison Keys.
The 26-year-old will now travel from Germany to Spain for the Madrid Open, a tournament she has already won on two occasions.
