Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn will follow in the footsteps of their fathers when they clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday night.
Chris Eubank Sr and Nigel Benn fought two memorable battles in the early 1990s and the next generation will get a chance to star in London.

Eubank Jr v Benn boxing betting tip
Eubank can make size count
Chris Eubank Jr is the strong 4/7 favourite for Saturday night’s clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and even that offer may underplay Next Gen’s chances.
The Brighton boxer has shared a ring with five former world champions and victories over James DeGale and Liam Smith are miles above the level of Benn.
Of course, there is potential for Benn to improve past what we have seen from the Destroyer at this stage of his career, but there are too many question marks on Saturday night.
The 28-year-old’s standout victories have come against Chris Algieri, Chris van Heerden and Sebastian Formella and those fighters were all shot when taking on the Essex man.
Benn will make the jump up from welterweight, having spent the bulk of his career at 147lbs and Eubank has been up to super-middleweight in the past.
The Destroyer has fought only once in the last 14 months and three times since 2021 and inactivity is also a concern.
Eubank has advantages in size, power, experience and most likely ability on Saturday night and that should count towards a stoppage victory for the 35-year-old.
Next Gen can score an early success
If Eubank’s advantages lie in size, power, strength and class, then Saturday’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium clash may not be a competitive contest.
The bout hasn’t been sanctioned because it’s a good match between two fighters in the same weight class, or there is a mandatory challenger to a title, or even Benn is a fighter on the rise and a clash victory against Eubank is the big-name opponent the destroyer needs on his record.
The fight is happening due to the history of the bouts between Chris Eubank Sr and Nigel Benn and there isn’t really any reason to think that Eubank Jr won’t blow the Destroyer away.
Benn was sent to the canvas by Cedrick Peynaud earlier in his career and the Frenchman is an extremely low-level performer. That also poses concerns over the 28-year-old’s punch resistance, certainly against a far bigger and better boxer in Eubank.
At 7/2, a chance can be taken on the Brighton boxer scoring success in rounds 1-6.
