Everyone is on Shedeur watch.
Round 1 of the NFL draft has come and gone.

And Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders did not hear his name called.
Cam Ward went first overall to the Tennessee Titans, which was expected. However, the surprise of the night came when the New York Giants traded back into the first round and selected Jaxson Dart with the 25th pick.
Many believed that Sanders would be drafted by the Giants.
Instead, he still finds himself waiting.
ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith revealed a theory that he believes is the reason why the talented son of Deion Sanders didn’t get drafted in the first round.
“I believe that the biggest issue in all of this was Primetime Deion Sanders and the thought of having to deal with him,” Smith said on First Take.
“It’s hard for me to sit here today and to watch a dude that was once projected to be one of the top two picks potentially in the draft to drop completely out of the first round and to ignore all those reports that had come out about him leading into the draft.”
Primetime had been vocal throughout the draft process, assuring everyone that he wanted his kid to be drafted by a competent organization and wouldn’t settle for anything less.
Smith believes that this impacted Sanders’ draft stock.

Meanwhile, the young Sanders has remained in good spirits.
After the events of the first round unfolded on Thursday, Shedeur shared his thoughts as he looks forward to night two of the draft.
“We all didn’t expect this, of course,” he told the crowd who had gathered to watch the draft alongside him.
“But I feel like with God, anything’s possible — everything’s possible.
“I don’t feel like this happened for no reason. All this is of course fuel to the fire.
“Under no circumstance — we all know this shouldn’t have happened. But we understand, we’re on to bigger and better things.
“Tomorrow’s the day. We’re gonna be happy regardless.”
Sanders will assuredly hear his name called on Friday evening, possibly even early, as teams look to secure a possible franchise quarterback.
The Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints are all teams to watch.
Whoever drafts Sanders will be getting a player with a huge chip on his shoulder.
And if Smith is to be believed, then they’ll also be getting a father with a bone to pick.
