It could only happen to Harry Kane.
The Bayern Munich striker will miss what will almost certainly be his first ever major trophy having picked up a suspension against Mainz.

Kane was booked in first half stoppage time during the 3-0 win, and with the card being his fifth this season, he will now miss the next game against Leipzig on May 3.
That match will very likely see Bayern clinch the Bundesliga, unless they lose and second placed Bayer Leverkusen beat Freiburg.
The England captain has been integral in his side wresting the title back, scoring a league leading 24 goals.
In doing so he’s finally set to end his astonishing career-long trophy drought, but may well have to do a John Terry and run off the side lines with his kit on.
Yet Bundesliga rules look set to save him, as the ‘Meisterschale’ trophy is traditionally handed out at the champions’ final home match if they secure it in advance.
More to follow.
