BetMGM Premier League Darts betting tips: Week 15 predictions

The 2025 Premier League Darts season is approaching its climax as the action heads north of the border to Aberdeen for Night 15.

Last week in Leeds, Luke Humphries and Gerwyn Price joined Luke Littler in securing their playoff places, leaving just one space up for grabs.

That final spot looks set to be a straight shootout between Michael van Gerwen and Nathan Aspinall. Rob Cross and Chris Dobey still have a mathematical chance, but in reality, it’s a two-horse race between MVG and ‘The Asp’.

Best darts bets for May 15th

  • Rob Cross to beat Chris Dobey at 10/11

Premier League Darts predictions for Week 15

Luke Littler made it to his eighth nightly final of the 2025 Premier League Darts season in Leeds last Thursday. The youngster was defeated by Luke Humphries, who himself was playing in his seventh final of the campaign.

Humphries’ 6-5 win confirmed his place in the playoffs at the O2 Arena. And with Luke Littler on 38 points, and Humphries on 31, it also keeps the race to top the points table alive for at least another week.

Gerwyn Price lost 6-3 to Littler in their semi-final last Thursday. The two points gained, along with MVG facing Aspinall in the quarter-final this week, means ‘The Iceman’ is now also guaranteed his place at the O2 later this month.

Stephen Bunting officially became the first player to be eliminated from the competition in Leeds last week. This, despite his sensational 121 checkout to win his match against Chris Dobey, who was waiting on double top.

Rob Cross and Dobey are set to join Bunting in confirming their eliminations in Aberdeen this week. Although the duo can still qualify, they both need a miracle.

Premier League darts betting tips for Week 15

Luke Littler is the 6/4 favourite to win Night 15 in Aberdeen. ‘The Nuke’ is followed in the betting by Luke Humphries at 4/1 and Gerwyn Price at 11/2. MVG and Rob Cross are still the only players not to win a night in the 2025 edition. Check out their prospects this week in our betting tips below:

Over 9.5 legs – MVG vs Nathan Aspinall

If MVG wins Night 15, he confirms his place at the O2 Arena at the end of the month. The ‘Green Machine’ has 20 points and sits in fourth place. He is one clear of ‘The Asp’ in fifth on 19.

Even if neither player goes on to win Night 15, winning this match is crucial. Whoever wins it will at the very least take a points lead over the other into Night 16 in Sheffield.

Although, with fourth set to take on fifth on Night 16, they are likely to have to do it all again.

Both players exited at the quarter-final stage last week in Leeds. Aspinall went down 6-4 to Littler, MVG lost by the same scoreline to Humphries. Both will feel they could have done better as well.

This is set to be a nervy affair that could go either way, so we are backing over 9.5 legs.

Stephen Bunting to beat Gerwyn Price

Although he has been officially eliminated from the competition, Stephen Bunting still won’t want to finish bottom of the table.

‘The Bullet’ came back from 5-2 down to beat Chris Dobey in their Leeds quarter-final last Thursday, showing he is still in there fighting.

And with Dobey facing Rob Cross in the third quarter-final in Aberdeen, Bunting has the opportunity to gain ground on one of the two players directly above him.

Gerwyn Price has confirmed his spot in the playoffs. He will want to keep hold of his third place in the table and avoid potentially having to face Luke Littler in the first semi-final at the O2. This should ensure the Welshman remains focussed.

Despite this, we have a sneaky feeling Bunting will win this one.

Rob Cross to beat Chris Dobey

Whoever wins this can virtually ensure they don’t finish bottom of the points table. This applies more to Rob Cross, who holds a four point lead over Bunting and a two point lead over Dobey.

Rob Cross lost a scrappy match against Gerwyn Price last Thursday. Chris Dobey chucked away his match against Bunting.

Neither player looks to be enjoying the Premier League at the moment, despite both still having a very slim outside chance of reaching the O2.

It feels like a toss of the coin match. But based on his poor finish to his match against Bunting last week, we feel that it is Dobey who is more likely to lose this bottom of the table showdown.

Over 9.5 legs – Luke Littler vs Luke Humphries

Luke Humphries still has an outside chance of catching Luke Littler and topping the table. Humphries is still the world No.1 and would no doubt love to underline this by finishing top and winning the event outright.

Luke Littler does what he does. He just turns up and plays darts, and usually wins. That said, Littler has repeated his desire that he wants to finish top of the points table.

The match is a repeat of last Thursday’s final. That went to 11 legs. The duo have met six times in the Premier League this season. Five of the matches have been over 9.5 legs.
