One of the big focuses is on the Premier League relegation, with Manchester United only finishing a couple of places above the drop zone, it looks like no team is safe from the dreaded drop next year.
bet365 have released their 2025/26 Premier League relegation prices where Manchester United are priced at just 16/1 to face a shock relegation to the Championship.
For perspective, they were as high as 150/1 last season but now it seems as though with no Champions League football it could be a tough summer for them as well, halting the rebuild Ruben Amorim was hoping for.
They’re also out to 66/1 to win the title which is a massive price for a team so successful in previous years at challenging for titles, but it would need a miraculous turnaround for that to be achieved.
bet365’s Steve Freeth explained: “There was always going to be one loser from the high-stakes game.
“For a club like Manchester United the consequences could be catastrophic.
“Transfer targets earmarked if they had gained Champions League qualification are likely to be discarded as the Red Devils may need to look further down their list of targets and possibly need to sell.
“Although they are 16/1 and not among the favourites to be relegated, there could be a knock-on effect. The losing mentality from their Premier League campaign at the end of this season, combined with this chastening defeat, may be hard to shift for a while.”
At 5/1, the Old Trafford club are the biggest price they’ve ever been before a ball has been kicked to finish in the Top 4.
Their talisman and captain Bruno Fernandes is as short as a 5/2 shot to move to Saudi Arabia this summer but is odds-on to still be at Old Trafford come September.
