Luke Littler shattered his own Premier League points record on the final night of the 2025 campaign.

Littler was sat on 40 points and top of the Premier League standings, going into the final night of the campaign in Sheffield.

Littler was in the record books yet again as more Premier League history came

‘The Nuke’ simply needed a victory over Stephen Bunting in the quarter-finals to surpass the current all-time Premier League points record which stood at 40.

He himself held the record of 40 from his debut Premier League appearance last year, where he cruised to the £500,000 prize.

And Littler sensationally dispatched of Bunting, whose misery on the Premier League stage continued.

He won 6-1 against the Liverpudlian, which took his tally to a mega 42 points.

The victory saw him shatter his own record, and there is little boundaries to what the teenage prodigy can do next.

Littler looks in pole position to secure the £275,000 prize again for the second consecutive year.

And the records have kept tumbling for the current world champion in recent weeks.

Earlier this month, Littler became the first player in history to have five nightly wins during a Premier League campaign.

He also surpassed his own tally of maximum 180’s and his scoring power is simply undeniable.

It has already been a sensational year for Littler, who began it in truly brilliant style.

Littler became the youngest ever world champion in January, beating Michael Van Gerwen in the PDC World Championship Final.

And he also picked up the UK Open major in March, and the trophy cabinet is certainly bulging for the champion.

Given his status as the Premier League leader, a target will now be on his back with the likes of Luke Humphries and Gerwyn Price nipping at his coat tails.

Humphries currently stands as world No.1, but will need to try and defend as much prize money as possible to keep his place at the top of the PDC Order of Merit.

And Littler admitted there is a target on his back this year, with fellow players treating him as their ‘cup final’.

“I think there’s been a target on my back since the start of last year, obviously runner-up [at 2024 World Championship].

“I’ve said it for years and years, even when I’ve been on the old BDO/WDF circuit, people are going to play their A-game [against me].

“They’re going to, it’s their cup final when they do come up against me.

“And I have to expect the best out of every player that I do play.

“So if I’m not on it, then nine times out of ten, I will get beat, because they’re throwing in a 110 average.”
