When is the Nations League final? Date, kick-off time, prize money and how to follow for Munich showpiece

The Nations League final takes place this weekend after it is confirmed which European giants will face off for silverware. 

There are four teams remaining in the UEFA competition, with Portugal, Germany, France and Spain in the semi-finals.

La Roja are the reigning champions after beating Croatia in 2023 and the Euro 2024 winners are now aiming to go back-to-back.

Cristiano Ronaldo and co are also former winners, while it’s the same for Les Bleus, leaving Germany as the only team not to have gone all the way already.

Munich hosts the final and all eyes are on securing a spot in the big one. 

When is the Nations League final? 

The 2025 Nations League final will take place on Sunday, June 8. 

It will be held at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. 

Kick-off in the final is scheduled for 8pm UK time. 

A broadcaster for this game is yet to be officially confirmed, but Amazon Prime Video will show the semi-finals for a PPV price of £2.49

Quarter-finals

Semi-finals 

  • Germany vs Portugal – June 4, 8pm 
  • Spain vs France – June 5, 8pm 

Final

  • Germany/Portugal vs Spain/France – June 8, 8pm

Nations League final: Prize money 

The prize money for this year’s Nations League has not yet been disclosed. 

However, Spain were reported to have won around £8.8million for their success in 2023. 

Runners-up Croatia took home just over £7.5million despite defeat in the final. 

Third and fourth place were awarded £6.7million and £5.9million respectively. 

Prizes may be different this time around, but it’s expected to be a similar payout. 

Exact figures could be released by UEFA once the tournament is complete.
