Commanding Prince

Two wins on the all-weather including over 7f in March and he followed that up with two decent outings on the turf in his first time in handicaps.

Those were very encouraging and should fare well in this kind of a handicap race against some rivals that may also have more to prove.

Blinkers replace the cheekpieces and that should also eke out some more improvement for what is just his sixth run in his career but also his sixth in less than five months.

Do No Wrong

Can see the appeal of the odds-on favourite trained by Nicky Henderson but I’m also seeing the value that Do No Wrong can bring.

He’s 11/4 currently but has a solid form over fences for which he’s not been seen in, in his last two races.

The last actually ended in a fall at Kelso over 3m2f but since then he’s gone well over a hurdle contest, just ten days later so his confidence was certainly fine.

Then he stormed home to win a point to point at Witton Castle and of course still keeps the same rating over fences despite showing there’s consistency and potential there now back for the first time since October.
