HAMILTON

The Dragon King
The Dragon King beat Storm Call in a Windsor nursery back in July before placing a respectable enough 6th of 16 in August at Goodwood when upped to 6f for the first time.
That Windsor race has worked out quite well and this colt has been lightly raced since while the likes of 3rd placed Where’s Clare has gone on to win since, as did 4th placed Mademoiselle.
Dangerous now back down in grade having performed well in a Class 2 handicap last time out and the drop back to 5f should be fruitful, with two wins already over this distance.
Townhill
Townhill beat Mr Yeats nicely at Newton Abbot over an extended 2m3f.
Townhill kept on well in victory and shows he could have more to offer reappearing against the Harriet Dickin-trained horse.
He’s also a better price despite only having been upped 3lb now having disappointed at Worcester last month.
Mr Ben Sutton has ridden out his 7lb claim and now only has a 5lb leeway.
That should still see Townhill go in front based on the way he beat the gelding last time and can only keep getting better as a six-year-old with three wins over hurdles already.
