Conor McGregor has taken his campaign for a UFC fight to the next level.
For the past couple of weeks, the former dual-weight champion has been publicly questioning Dana White’s decision to delay his comeback until 2025.

McGregor hasn’t fought since breaking his leg during a trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021 – but he’s fit and ready to return to the Octagon.
On Tuesday morning, ‘Notorious’ leaked an email from Drug Free Sport – the company responsible for drug testing UFC fighters and keeping White’s promotion clean.
It read: “Dear Conor McGregor, we are pleased to inform you that sample number E004244, that you provided on 13 September 2024, returned a NEGATIVE result from the lab.
“Thank you for your contribution to supporting a clean UFC.”
The UFC’s drug testing database shows that McGregor is the most tested athlete on the roster after offering up 11 separate samples in 2024.
That’s a fact he wanted to point out while asking for a fight date.
McGregor wrote alongside the leaked email: “Most tested athlete on the UFC roster x2. I deserve my fight date! #cleanathlete.”
The Irishman followed up that post with a clip from his recent sparring session with Sean O’Bradaigh, an amateur boxer ranked no.8 in the US at light heavyweight.
It showed McGregor whacking the 22-year-old with a massive overhand left.
He added the caption: “Let’s launch a few of these in live play! Come on guys, let’s go! FREE THE MAC!”

McGregor was booked to make his return against Michael Chandler in June.
Unfortunately, the superstar fighter broke his toe in training and withdrew from his UFC 303 main event contest with ‘Iron Mike’.
Both men agreed to rebook the fight for UFC 310 in December, but when it became clear that wouldn’t happen, Chandler agreed to rematch Charles Oliveira at UFC 309 in November instead.
McGregor is still hoping he’ll get to face the American next year.
“I’d like it to be Chandler,” he said about his UFC comeback ahead of Anthony Joshua’s KO loss to Daniel Dubois on Saturday night. “I’d like that to be squared away.
“I wish him well against Oliveira, but let’s see how it goes.”
