Tyson Fury has insisted he only needs a few weeks of training to prepare for his much-anticipated rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury lost on a split decision to Usyk in May as he was denied the opportunity to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era.

Most feel the fight was lost on activity with esteemed boxing trainer Dominic Ingle even claiming that Fury didn’t have the ‘fitness levels’ to overcome Usyk over the 12-round distance.
After a slow start, ‘The Gypsy King’ found his groove in the middle rounds before seeing the fight slip away from him in the final quarter as his output reduced.
But rather than ramping up his cardio work ahead of their rematch on December 21, Fury has caused concern by admitting he hasn’t started training despite the fight being less than three months away.
Asked how preparation for the second fight are going, he replied: “I haven’t started training yet.
“I won’t go into camp for a good while. I think I’ve got 13 weeks today until my fight.
“So, I’ll probably start training in about six weeks for it.
“I do about six/seven weeks of training for these fights usually and I’ll be ready to rock and roll on the night. Roll on December 21, come on!”
In stark contrast, Usyk has already returned to training.
The Ukrainian superstar uploaded a photo on Instagram yesterday of him in the gym with the caption: “x2 undisputed.”
Meanwhile, he kept himself ticking over by partaking in a water bike race for charity earlier this month in Monaco.

There were those who felt Fury underestimated Usyk ahead of their inaugural encounter and his recent comments won’t fill his supporters with confidence.
Disclosing how he intends to beat Usyk, Fury added: “It’s very simple. I’ve just got to knock a motherf****r out, and I’ve made no secret of it.
“I think I out-boxed him last time and I’m sure I got the decision, but I’m not going in there for a decision this time.
“I remember I boxed really well in Wilder 1, and I didn’t get the decision.
“I did the same the other night when I boxed three or four months ago.
“In the Wilder 2, I went to knock a motherf***** out, and we all know what happened. In Usyk 2, I’m going to knock a motherf***** out!”
