The stadium was evacuated by the police.
The Secretary of Security of the area, Medellin, Manuel Villa, said: “Football should be a celebration of peace, and the culture of football is a collective commitment.
“But if someone doesn’t understand that, they have no place in this celebration: those masquerading as fans who create these situations and act outside the law are not fans, but criminals and should be treated as such. Irresponsible!
“There will be sanctions, and measures will be taken as necessary.”
Outlet AS Colombia were covering the game before the chaos erupted in the stands.
Roughly translated, their final blog post from the match reads: “Once again, violence prevents a match in Colombia from being completed.

“This weekend we expect good behaviour from the fans in the country’s stadiums.”
Nacional boss Juarez played just 13 times for Celtic after signing for £2million from Mexican outfit Club Universidad Nacional.
His side sit fifth in Primera A, but would have gone second in the league if the game had been completed and they held on for the win.
Junior, meanwhile, sit in 12th.
