The Baltimore Ravens are Lamar Jackson’s team. That’s no secret.
The two-time league MVP has his team off to a slow start at 1-2 but will have the chance to get back to .500 on Sunday night against Josh Allen and the red-hot Buffalo Bills.

Jackson is the straw that stirs the drink. He makes it all go round.
Again, no secret. Especially not to a guy who watches him everyday at practice, in teammate David Ojabo.
“He’s the tip of the spear,” Ojabo said in an exclusive sitdown with talkSPORT’s Brian Smith.
“We go as he goes. His energy is infectious,” Ojabo said.
“His athletic ability, it’s one of one. That’s L.J. That’s L. Honestly, I love practicing just so I can watch L.J.
“I know, every day at practice, you’re guaranteed at least probably two or three moments where you’re like, ‘OK, like this is Lamar Jackson.’
“And it’s a pleasure, man. It’s a pleasure to be on this team with him. He’s a great leader.”
Through three games, Jackson has thrown for 702 yards, three touchdowns and one interception, with a completion percentage of 65.6%. He has also rushed for 254 yards and a touchdown.
Good but not great numbers. Certainly not to the standard of the reigning league MVP.
But like Ojabo put it, Jackson’s game is ‘one of one.’

There’s very little question as to if Jackson will eventually round into his MVP form. He will be fine, there is no concern.
However, his counterpart on Sunday night is already in midseason MVP form, as Josh Allen and Buffalo Bills are enjoying a dominant start to the year.
At 3-0 and playing nearly perfect ball, Allen has been the best quarterback in the league through the first three weeks.
Allen has thrown for 634 yards, seven touchdowns, zero interceptions and completing 75% of his passes. He also has two rushing touchdowns on the year.
Having a front row seat to Jackson, Ojabo knows what a special player looks like, he knows they are going to have their hands full.
“We just have to honor a guy like that who can take over a game,” Ojabo said.
“With his size and arm talent, field vision, just all that, man. He’s a very special guy for their team. You definitely have to prepare for him and going into this week, we definitely have.”
After an offseason filled with questions and uncertainty, Allen once again has the Bills looking like a Super Bowl contender
It doesn’t get much bigger than Jackson vs. Allen.
Two of the biggest stars in the league, in front of a national TV audience.
