Once again, fans flocked out in their thousands to get a glimpse of the darting superstars including the reigning Premier League and world champion.

The walk-on was packed as Littler signed autographs and greeted fans.

But one fan took things too far barging in front of his own mum who was stood waiting to greet her teenage prodigy son.

Littler was left fuming as he eased the fans out of the way in order to hug his mum.

He looked furious as he ensured his mum was okay and safe from danger, before stepping on to stage.

When on stage, Littler kept glancing over to his mum before giving her the thumbs up, to ensure she wasn’t affected.

Nonetheless, it spurred him on to an incredible performance against Bunting, posting a 112 average en route to a sensational 6-3 victory.

As always the 18-year-old handled the situation well and focused on his arrows, flying to set up a semi-final with Nathan Aspinall.

The crowd have become a pivotal part of the Premier League, given the invitational tournament invites thousands of fans to flock out to cities around Europe.

On night two in Glasgow, the crowd faced heavy criticism after whistling at the players during matches.

This included in the final of night two, where Littler and Luke Humphries were both visibly agitated by the whistling.

But irrespective of recent instances, Littler believes the crowd play a huge positive part in the regular events.

Although the PDC issued a strongly-worded statement condemning disruptive fan behaviour.

It read: “Following Thursday’s Premier League Darts night in Glasgow, the PDC wishes to strongly reiterate that it does not condone any behaviour which can disrupt an event, such as whistling or booing when players are throwing.

“Every player goes on stage with the intention of performing to the best of their ability and providing an entertaining spectacle for all fans, whether in the venue or watching worldwide.

“As per the terms and conditions of entry to events, spectators who act inappropriately can be removed from the venue.

The PDC works closely with Premier League venues, who have responsibility for crowd control, to take proactive and decisive action against those who behave inappropriately.

“The vast majority of fans who attend our sell-out events on a regular basis also condemn this behaviour and we will continue to promote a positive atmosphere which gives all players the opportunity to play to the best of their ability in every match.”

But nonetheless, Littler is in fine form and remains a role model under the lights of intense scrutiny.

His composure and temperament has drawn widespread praise from as he has continued to transcend the sport as a whole.

‘The Nuke’ will hope to continue his chasing down of Humphries, who has taken a narrow lead at the top of the table so far.
