The Kenya Football Federation (FKF) has for the second time been postponed for lack of a suitable venue in Kenya to host a fixture of such a magnitude.

With Nyayo and Moi International stadium, Kasarani undergoing renovations in preparations for the Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) scheduled for August, Kenya has no bigger stadium available.

AFC Leopards chairman Daniel Shikanda had suggested that the Mashemeji derby be held in Uganda or Tanzania other than postponing it again.

This is the second time the biggest fixture in Kenyan football is suspended as the original fixture shown the game was to be played on November 24.

Both sides are still in the title race with AFC Leopards 5th on the log with 34 points while Gor Mahia are 3rd with two points ahead.

Kenya Police top the standings with 41 points followed by Tusker FC are one point adrift.
