1. Liverpool to win away at at PSV (Wed, 8pm)
Liverpool are the final team remaining in the Champions League to boast a 100% record and will be looking to make it a perfect eight wins out of eight on their trip to Eindhoven on Wednesday night.
The runaway Premier League leaders head over to the Netherlands having lost just one of their last 30 matches in all competitions dating back to September.
PSV sit down in 19th in the Champions League table and face a tough test in Wednesday’s match against probably the best team in Europe this season, but would need to lose and for a lot of results to go against them in order not to reach the knockout phase.
2. Aston Villa to beat Celtic at home (Wed, 8pm)
Only goal difference currently separates Aston Villa from the top eight and an automatic place in the last 16 of the Champions League after winning four of their seven matches in Europe so far this season, four of those games coming away from home.
Unai Emery’s side head into Wednesday’s clash having lost just one of their last seven matches, while Celtic have won just one of their last five matches away from home in all competitions.
Brendan Rodgers’ side are winless on the road in the Champions League this season, currently sitting 18th in the league phase table.
3. Inter Milan to beat Monaco at home (Wed, 8pm)
Inter Milan head into the final round of Champions League league phase matches sitting pretty in fourth in the table, all but guaranteed of a place in the last 16 of the competition after five wins from their seven matches so far.
Simone Inzaghi’s side have won their last three matches heading into Wednesday’s game with just one defeat in their last 11 games in all competitions, and have a 100% record at home in the Champions League this season.
Monaco head to the San Siro winless from seven of their last eight matches away from home, and with defeats in two of their last three Champions League matches.
4. Bayer Leverkusen to beat Sparta Prague at home (Wed, 8pm)
Bayer Leverkusen currently occupy the eighth and final round of 16 qualification position ahead of their last game of the league phase, but will be after a win on Wednesday against their Czech opposition in order to be certain of that top eight finish.
Xabi Alonso’s side have won 11 of their last 13 matches in all competitions which has seen the reigning German champions climb into second place in the Bundesliga table.
They take on a Sparta Prague side who have lost each of their last five matches in the Champions League, and have had their elimination from the tournament confirmed regardless of Wednesday night’s result in Germany.
