Ally’s Acca: Wolves, Hibernian, Sunderland and Peterborough all to win – (was 11/1) NOW 13/1 – CLAIM HERE
1. Wolves to beat Southampton at home (Sat, 3pm)
The bottom two sides in the Premier League meet at Molineux on Saturday afternoon with Wolves looking for their first victory of the season.
The fixture had not been kind to the West Midlands side playing six of last season’s top seven in their opening eight games of the season, but Gary O’Neil’s side have managed to pick draws against Brighton and Crystal Palace in their last two games, and their first win seems only a matter of time now.
Saturday sees them come up against a Southampton side with the worst away record in the division, having lost all five matches on the road, and Wolves will see this weekend’s match as the perfect opportunity to record their first victory.
2. Hibs to beat St Mirren at home (Sat, 3pm)
A similar match takes place in the Scottish capital on Saturday afternoon, as bottom of the table Hibs look for their second victory of the season against an out of form St Mirren side.
Despite being bottom of the table, David Gray’s side have played a game fewer than most of the teams above them and are unbeaten in their last three outings, and have lost only one out of seven matches at home when discounting games against the Old Firm sides this season.
Performances have been increasing as they bid for their first win in seven, but will see Saturday’s match with St Mirren, who hold the worst away record in the league, winless in eight away games in all competitions this season.
3. Sunderland to beat Coventry at home (Sat, 3pm)
Top of the table Sunderland head into the weekend unbeaten in their last seven matches ahead of Saturday’s game against a managerless Coventry side struggling a the wrong end of the Championship table.
Regis le Bris’ side have picked up 16 points from their six home matches this season, giving them the joint best home record in the second tier, whilst also having kept clean sheets in each of their last three games.
Coventry make the long trip to Wearside having sacked the longest serving manager in the Championship, Mark Robins, following their 2-1 defeat at home against Derby in midweek that leaves them level on points with the relegation zone.
The Sky Blues have just one away win to their name in the league this season.
4. Peterborough to beat Cambridge at home (Sat, 3pm)
Peterborough have won each of their last eight home Cambridgeshire derbies against Cambridge in a run dating back 30 years to 1994.
The home side struggled in the early stages of the campaign to put wins on the board but head into the weekend having won three of their last four matches and are strong odds on favourites to make that four in five on derby against relegation zone-dwelling opposition.
