2024-2025 Finance Trust Bank Women Super League (Match Day 12)

- Makerere University 0-0 Kawempe Muslim
The second round of the 2024-2025 Finance Trust Women super league officially commenced on Saturday, 1st February 2025 with match day 12.
Three games were played on the day, with the other three set of games coming up on the subsequent day.
Amus College women and Tooro Queens won their respective matches on the road.
Tooro Queens beat a 10-man Rines SS 2-1 at the Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium in Wakiso.
Mary Kabaculezi and Imelda Kasemire scored for Tooro Queens with Patricia Nanyanzi scoring Rines’ only goal.
At the St Mary’s Stadium Kitende, Amus College edged Wakiso Hill 1-0 with Edinah Wanda scoring the all-important goal.
Wakiso Hill’s goalkeeper Halima Kasuubo was outstanding throughout the match with great command of the backline and pinpoint saves to deny Wanda and Shayline Opisa on different occassions.
Judith Mawuwai (Wakiso Hill) was the outstanding player of the match.
“We are glad to have worked as a unit to record this away win. We shall remain as hardworking as possible to keep up the pace” Faridah Bulega, head coach of Amus College revealed after the match.
Maximum points for Amus College propels them to 24 points, one shy of Kawempe Muslim.
Makerere University and Kawempe Muslim teams shared the spoils in a non-scoring stalemate at the Makerere University playground.
Meanwhile, match day 12 commenced on Sunday, 2nd February 2025 with She Corporate against Lady Doves at the Kyabazinga stadium in Jinja.
She Maroons take on Olila High School at the Luzira prisons ground whilst Uganda Martyrs entertains table leaders Kampala Queens at the St Gerald Stadium in Lubaga.
