Angel Reese is winning both on and off the court.
The WNBA star, who recently become a champion of the inaugural Unrivaled league and netted herself a $50k bonus, is now officially a homeowner too.

Reese announced her personal milestone in a social media post on Tuesday.
Next to green check emojis, she wrote on X: “Retired my momma. Became a homeowner. All at 22. So blessed.”
She further commented on her achievements once a fan account re-shared the news with a picture of the Chicago Sky star holding a large cutout of a house key.
Quoting the post, Reese referenced her recent Vogue cover shoot, adding: “They said ‘she need to cover up’ so I went cover on Vogue.
“They said ‘she can’t afford her rent’ so I went and bought a house. Thank yaaaa.”
Reese, one of the WNBA’s top stars, received a number of congratulatory messages across her social media platforms after revealing her news.
One of those messages came from her mom, Angel Webb Reese, who wrote: “Congratulations Baby Girl!!!”
As she alluded to in her post, Reese previously made headlines for revealing that she struggled to pay rent with her WNBA rookie salary.
“I just hope you know the WNBA don’t pay my bills at all,” Reese, who earned $73,439 in 2024, said during a live-stream last year.
“I don’t even think that pays one of my bills. Literally, I’m trying to think of my rent for where I stay at (in Chicago). I’m gonna do the math real quick.”

The former LSU star then calculated her spending, noting that her rent was $8,000 per month at the time.
“I’m living beyond my means!” she added.
“I wouldn’t even be able to get a sandwich if I wanted to. I wouldn’t be able to eat. I wouldn’t be able to live.”
Luckily for Reese, her salary is supplemented by several lucrative endorsements with the likes of Reebok, Beats by Dre, Wingstop, Xfinity and Reece’s Pieces.
As a result, she has a reported net worth of around $1.5million.
Now, having made it onto the property ladder, she won’t have to worry about paying rent again.

Reese is also looking after her mom, too, and recently paid off her mortgage.
Back in January, the Chicago Sky star invited ‘Mama Angel’ onto her podcast.
“Well it’s your birthday today,” Reese said, presenting a cake to her mom.
“Before we sing Happy Birthday, you said that if your mortgage was paid off that you would retire or you won’t work.
“You can pick if you want to work still, your mortgage today has been paid.
“You ain’t got to worry about your mortgage no more and if you want to still work and keep yourself, you can keep yourself busy.
“That was my biggest goal in life to retire you and pay your mortgage or whatever you wanted not to work.”
Reese, who is gearing up for her second WNBA season, has now hit two major personal goals at the age of 22, and she likely won’t be slowing down anytime soon.
