In the build-up to the fight, Dubois was filmed in his gym with his team who brought him a 27th birthday cake with a picture of his rival Joshua on.
‘Dynamite’ proceeded to smash the cake with Joshua’s face on it using his right hand which split it into two.
It was a comical attempt at intimidation by Dubois who grinned with his camp after landing his shot.
But Joshua wasn’t overly amused by the stunt, telling Queensberry Promotions: “Yeah I saw, I saw.
“It was funny but he should focus on himself, all that stuff is small distractions in my opinion.
“My team we don’t do interviews, we keep our heads down. We don’t indulge in, well not disrespect.
“But we don’t put funny stuff about my opponents during fight week.
“None of my team goes online and talks about my opponent. We are respectful.
“That’s why we are focusing on ourselves and continuing to be respectful to our opponents.”
Joshua and Dubois have already clashed since their fight was announced, during their initial face-off.

A behind-closed-doors interview was filmed, in which Joshua threatened to ‘smash a chair’ on his rival’s face, as the pair were separated by security.
Both men have avoided confrontation during the stages of fight week so far, with focus now on their high-stakes showdown.
Joshua has the chance to make history and join an elite club of three-time heavyweight champions if he captures Dubois’ IBF belt.
But the 26-year-old talent is determined to make his opportunity on the big stage count, to set up a shot at undisputed glory.
The winner is likely set to face the victor of Oleksandr Usyk’s rematch with Tyson Fury which takes place on December 21.
