Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois has been simulated – and it ends in devastating fashion.

The British heavyweights are set to square off for the IBF world title on Saturday night at Wembley Stadium.

Joshua is attempting to become a three-time heavyweight champion while Dubois is looking to make a first defence of the IBF strap after being promoted from interim to full world champion in June.

Oleksandr Usyk snatched the title – as well as the WBA and WBO belts – from Joshua in September 2021 when he defeated the Brit for the first time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

He went on to retain the unified titles in their rematch before making a second successful defence by knocking out Dubois in the ninth round over in Poland.

The Ukrainian slickster then recorded a split decision win over Tyson Fury in May to unify all four major sanctioning body belts and become the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era.

But just over a month after achieving the incredible feat he was forced to relinquish IBF gold in order to pursue a contracted rematch with Fury rather than a mandatory defence against Dubois.

As a result, Joshua vs Dubois is now a world title fight although, in truth, it didn’t need the added billing to represent the magnitude of the occasion.

A victory for either will open the door to an undisputed clash with the winner of Usyk vs Fury II, while for the loser, it could spell the end of their time at the top.

With so much on the line, it’s sure to be an exciting fight and, if the simulation is anything to go by, then boxing fans are in for a treat.

In the fantasy bout, simulated on Fight Night Champion, Dubois gets off to a fast start as he lands a sweeping left hook to the body that staggers Joshua.

The Watford powerhouse recovers well and comes back in the second stanza to hurt Dubois twice but continued investment to the body pays dividends for Dubois in the third round.

After rocking Joshua with a right hand up top, Dubois sinks another one to the body which sends AJ tumbling to the canvas.

Joshua makes his way back to his feet, and when he does, the tables turn.

In the fourth frame, an overhand right leaves Dubois flat on his face.

Yet he somehow miraculously recovers.

He is punished for his bravery one round later when he is decked once again by a sickening body shot.

But ‘Triple D’ manages to return the favour moments later after Joshua gets greedy with his work.

For the next three rounds, both boxers set an almighty pace until Joshua closes the show in the eighth stanza with a brutal check left hook.

Many fans anticipate this will be the eventual outcome, as do the bookies, who have AJ as a 1/4 favourite to get his hand raised.

However, hard-hitting Dubois will have something to say about that.
