Jhon Duran dumped more misery on Everton as the Aston Villa super sub bagged an outrageous long-range winner in a five-goal thriller.
The Toffees threw away another 2-0 lead at Villa Park on Saturday following their collapse to Bournemouth last time out, which saw them lose 3-2.

Now, Sean Dyche‘s side have suffered the same fate against Villa to leave them rooted to the bottom of the table after four games.
Dwight McNeil and Dominic Calvert-Lewin put the visitors into a 2-0 lead after 27 minutes.
Many Everton fans would have been thinking that their three-match losing streak this season was set to come to an end.
But Ollie Watkins sparked the comeback after grabbing his first top-flight goal this campaign in the 36th minute.
He then equalised shortly before the hour mark – just moments after Everton squandered a key chance.
And substitute Duran, whose seven of eight Premier League goals have come from the bench, was on hand to rescue Villa yet again – and in stunning fashion.
He took aim from 35 yards out, with his dipping strike nestling into the top left corner in the 75th minute – leaving Jordan Pickford no chance.
Goalkeeper Emi Martinez was spotted looking stunned at the outrageous strike, with cameras catching him with his mouth wide open.
Duran has proven to be a super sub for Villa this season, having scored the winners against West Ham and Leicester last month – and now against Everton.
Among players to have scored eight-plus Premier League goals, only Matt Derbyshire (90 per cent) has seen a higher share come as a substitute than Duran (88 per cent).

The drama wasn’t done there though, as Everton should have equalised immediately after Duran’s goal.
However Calvert-Lewin failed to direct his shot on target as his effort smashed against the crossbar.
Villa eventually held on for the win, with it being the first time since January 2020 they have won a Premier League match since being behind at half-time.
For Everton, they are just the second Premier League club in history to lose successive matches despite being two goals up in both fixtures.
The result will only further put the pressure on Dyche, who has never won a match in charge of Everton from a losing position.
