After plenty of hype, the Baller League finally debuted in the UK.

Headlined by popular influencer KSI, the UK version of the Ballers League follows the same format as its German counterpart. Twelve teams enter the league, with only one walking away with the trophy at the end.

For those who are new to the Ballers League, it is a six-a-side football tournament that takes place over twelve weeks. Each team consists of a mix of former footballers, influencers, and futsal players.

There are also plenty of familiar faces in the dugouts, with the likes of Alan Shearer, Gary Lineker, John Terry, and Luis Figo all taking to the touchline.

The original Ballers league was founded in 2023 in Germany by former German internationals Lukas Podolski and Matt Hummels. It has been a huge success, building an online global audience of millions thanks to its weekly streams and engaging content.

Fans have been calling for it in the UK for some time now, and KSI has finally taken the bull by the horns and delivered.

The weekly fixtures will be held at the Copper Box Arena, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and punters will be able to bet on the league using some of the UK’s biggest bookmakers.

In this guide to Baller League betting, we break down the tournament format, the best bookies to use, the teams and their managers, and much more.

Baller League format

The Baller League is an exciting, indoor football league. It follows a six-a-side format and is similar to Masters Football, which was a popular league in the UK for many years.

The league features teams composed of former Premier League footballers, futsal stars, celebrities, and influencers. There are 12 teams in the league, each made up of fifteen squad players.

The league will follow a traditional format and end with a play-off round featuring the top four. Each team will play each other once, totalling eleven match days and then two play-off rounds.

Each game is 30 minutes long, split into two 15-minute halves. Baller matches have unique rules, with no corners being given. Instead, a penalty is awarded if a team puts the ball out at their end three times. Matches will also have different rules applied for the final three minutes.

Baller League schedule

The Baller League kicked off on March 24th and will conclude on July 11th with the final four play-offs.

Games will be held each Monday until then. Fans can watch the action unfold every week live on Sky Sports.
