Kitara head coach Wasswa Bbosa is wary of the threat posed by struggling Wakiso Giants who they face on Sunday at Nakivubo.

The Royals are the most on form side in the division with four wins in five matches and face a team in the bottom three and winless in over ten matches.

However, Bbosa says they are a good team and can’t be taken lightly.

“Despite their current struggles, they are a side with quality players and their technical bench is good so we expect a tough game,” said Bbosa. “But we are prepared well especially after that international friendly with Gor Mahia and we shall aim for three points to climb up the table,” he added.

The visitors are 10th on the log with 17 points and maximum points will lift them above champions SC Villa who are on 20 points.

Former Purple Sharks Titus Ssematimba and Marvin Nyanzi will take on their former side just like Lawrence Bukenya who previously had a short stint at Kitara.

In case of a rare victory for Steven Bengo’s men, they will climb out of the relegation zone although they will be tied on same points with Lugazi who lost 2-1 to BUL on Friday.
