  • Mbale Heroes FC Vs Mbarara City FC – Mbale 4pm·
  • UPDF FC Vs Kitara FC – Bombo 4pm
  • NEC FC Vs KCCA FC – Lugogo 7pm

Kitara coach Wasswa Bbosa wants his side to maintain their form when they visit UPDF at Bombo on Thursday.

The Royals who won the reverse fixture 4-0 at Butema have since shaken off the abysmal start to the season and are now on 21 points in 8th position.

A win over the army side will see them climb up to 6th position and tie with 5th placed URA on points.

“Our target is to be amongst the top four teams competing and we can only achieve that by winning games,” said Bbosa. “In UPDF, we face a stubborn side especially at their home but I believe whoever will take the instructions well will win on the day,” he added.

Kitara’s last match was a 1-0 win over SC Villa with arguably the last kick of the game at Butema and they are unbeaten in eight matches drawing three and winning the rest since suffering a defeat at Bright Stars in November.

Paul Kiwanuka’s charges are winless in the past league outings and find themselves just above the red zone with 17 points.
