Maroons vs Wakiso Giants – Luzira 4pm

BUL vs KCCA – Najjembe 4pm

Mbarara vs Police – Kakyeeka 4pm

Bright Stars vs URA – Kavumba 4pm

Wakiso Giants coach Steven Bengo has urged his players to concentrate for whole minutes against Maroons if they are to leave the Prisons Grounds with maximum points.

The two sides face off on Friday with either targeting to get off the mark after beginning their campaign with similar 1-1 results.

The Purple Sharks threw away a first half lead against Soltilo Bright Stars while the Prison warders were within minutes of beating UPDF but conceded a late equaliser.

“In the first game against Bright Stars, we switched off in some moments especially in the second half and we were punished,” said Bengo who is in permanent management for the first time in his career as head coach.

“So we have worked on that as we face a good side that beat us 1-0 in a friendly and from the lessons we got, we believe we can do better,” he added.

Wakiso Giants who could have a few more individuals available including U-20 striker Davis Kakande will face their former defender Apollo Kagogwe in defence.

Key Stats:

Maroons have only lost one to Wakiso Giants in the previous six league meetings [W2, D3]

In other match day two fixtures on Friday, Police visit Mbarara City at Kakyeka, URA are away to Soltilo Bright Stars while BUL host KCCA at Najjembe.
