Steven Bengo wants Wakiso Giants to make home advantage count when his side take on Mbale Heroes on Friday at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium.

The two sides come into the clash on the back of victories with the Purple Sharks beating Maroons 3-2 at Luzira while Mbale Heroes stunned champions Villa with a 1-0 defeat at Mbale.

Speaking to reporters about the game, Bengo said the team is in a rebuilding process but focus is on winning matches as they address other issues especially defensively.

“I’m aware Mbale Heroes is motivated by their recent win against SC Villa, but we’re solely focused on improving with each game and achieving positive results,” he said

“We’ve worked to minimize mistakes, avoid conceding, and ensure we score goals to secure the win.”

Herbert Asiimwe who has scored two goals in as many league matches will lead the hosts’ attack along with Marvin Oshaba.

Richard Malinga who played alongside Bengo at KCCA will be in the opposite dugout and will rely on Davis Sekajja, ex-Wakiso Giants winger Pius Wangi and Hakiramu Muzanyi among others to breakdown the hosts.
