But there are also savings to be had on entry-level, slimline Fitbit fitness trackers that can help you get healthier without looking like you’re a fitness geek.
Whatever you choose, you can sync it with the Fitbit app to set goals and track your progress.
The app can help you increase your daily activity by recommending workouts, as well as helping you wind down and sleep with guided meditations and suggestions about how to improve your night-time routine.

Best Fitbit Black Friday deals to shop now
To get a good deal on a Fitbit, you need to compare prices at several retailers but we can help with that.
Here are some of the deals that excite us the most right now from Amazon, Currys and more.
Fitbit Sense 2, £189.49, was £269.99
Designed to monitor your body’s key metrics, the Fitbit Sense 2 features advanced stress management tools to help you rest and recover as well as other metrics to get fitter and faster.
The Sense 2’s all-day body response sensor helps track your stress levels by measuring skin temperature, heart rate variability, and electrodermal activity (EDA), providing insights into how your body responds to daily activities.
Sleep tracking is also taken to the next level, with personalised sleep profiles that give you actionable steps to improve the quality and quantity of your shut-eye.
Fitbit Charge 6, £114, was £139
The Fitbit Charge 6 is a great option for anyone who wants to improve their health and perhaps cut down on their phone screen time.
It seamlessly integrates with Google services, allowing users to control YouTube Music, navigate with Google Maps, and make contactless payments with Google Wallet.
Sleek, durable, and water-resistant, it’s easy to use for all types of fitness goals, as you can select from over 40 exercise modes, guided breathing sessions, and 24/7 stress tracking to improve mental wellness alongside physical fitness.
Fitbit Ace3 kids activity tracker, £44.99, was £49.99
With its durable, swim-proof design, the Ace 3 can handle all the rough and tumble of kids’ daily activities, including splashy pool sessions.
The device tracks steps, active minutes, and sleep, helping parents ensure their child stays active and gets quality rest.
The friendly on-screen animations and customisable clock faces add a touch of fun, motivating kids to reach their daily goals with gentle reminders – and there’s currently £5 off at Currys.

When is Black Friday 2024 and will Fitbit trackers go on sale?
Black Friday always takes place the day after Thanksgiving in the United States, which is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November.
In 2024, Black Friday falls on November 29 and Cyber Monday will be on December 2.
As there are already Fitbit deals ahead of Black Friday, it’s a pretty good indication that prices will be dropped on a wider variety of models during the main sales events.
While Amazon, John Lewis and Argos have slashed prices already, Boots, Currys and Very are likely to offer discounts when the main Black Friday event begins on November 29, or perhaps a few days before.
We’ll be keeping an eye on Fitbit prices at those retailers to update this guide with the deals as they drop.

How accurate is Fitbit?
Studies show Fitbit step counts are quite reliable, with a typical error margin of about 5-10%, but accuracy decreases with non-arm movements or slow walking.
For heart rate, Fitbits use optical sensors that are fairly accurate at rest or during activity, but these are not as precise as something a medical professional would use.
Overall, Fitbits are useful for tracking general trends and can be very helpful for everyday fitness monitoring but you need to bear in mind that they do not offer exact measurements.
Always consult a medical professional before starting a new exercise routine or if you have any other health concerns.
Does Fitbit offer any other discounts?
Fitbit currently offers a 20% student discount.
You’ll also be able to get 20% if you’re an NHS worker.
Vitality health and life insurance customers are entitled to up to 36% off a wide range of Fitbits, using their Vitality policy number.
